Adam On The Crosswalk - What's In A Name

The guys from the band (Adam, Mark, Charley, and Scott) were trying to think up a band name. So, to feed their creativity, they went to get pizza. They were all sitting in the patio of the restaurant when Adam said he had to get another set of sticks (drumsticks) from the shop across the street. So, while he was crossing the crosswalk, a green Jeep was speeding fast towards him. And Adam, oblivious to everything and usual, didn't notice. Scott saw the accident waiting to happen when he took a bite of really hot pizza that burned his tounge, and so when he finally said something to the rest the group it came out "Adab on da Crossdawk!" The group, somehow understanding him, turned around and yelled at Adam to move. Adam, suddenly awaking from his little world of walking, moved out of the way just in time for the Jeep to stop abruptly, inches from hitting him. And that's how Adam On The Crosswalk came about.
